German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

If you are interested in this sweet girl, the first step is to fill out an application at http://ffosk9rescue.org/adoption-application. We believe Ruby to be a little over a year old and possibly a Shepherd/Rottie mix. She weighs 55 pounds, loves everyone she meets and bonds easily. She's very loving and would be a lap dog if you let her, lol. She can be fearful when meeting other dogs, but with just a little time, she warms up, and is actually submissive. She adores running and playing with the 3 large dogs at her foster home. She'd love a fursibling or two. She's very playful, even by herself she will throw a rope into the air and will ... (Read More)chase a ball. She'd be great with children. She is spayed and UTD on her shots. She has been spayed, up dated on all her immunizations, heart worm negative and started on preventatives for fleas and heart worms. Her adoption donation is $200, we are a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible. Out of state adoptions are possible, you must be willing pay for the health certificate, if needed, and possibly a transport fee, should a transport be available to your area. You are also welcome to pick up your new family member. (Less)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Baron was a stray which we took in approximately 2 years ago. We have had some success with his training, but Baron is not adjusting well to being an indoor dog. He bolts out the door and drags our small children when they take him out on a leash. We are not in a position to fence our yard and Baron needs a place where he can run and explore. We have also had an elderly family member move in with us last year and we are fearful that Baron could unwillingly cause a fall down the stairs. Baron has been neutered and micro chipped.
