They have found theirselves at our local shelter that euthanizes for space. We are a small volunteer group that tries to find forever homes for them and save their lives. There's no adoption fees just an agreement to have him neutered and rabies vaccine. Will you please open your heart and give Mr Bear the love that he deserves the rest of his life?

What journey this has been! We learned from a local resident she lived on scraps for two years, provided by an elderly woman who passed away last September. After ten long weeks of bringing meals and treats, we befriended this sweet girl and were able to rescue her using a humane trap. Since then, her scared demeanor has completely changed and her playful personality has emerged! She now seeks human companionship after years of fearing people. Journey is estimated to be 2.5 years old and weighs 40lbs. She has been spayed, is up-to-date with her vaccinations, microchipped, and will undergo heartworm treatment in April. German Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

If you are looking for Old Yeller, here he is, just trapped in a Shepherd body. This amazing, loyal, loving, and non issued guy came to us after his owner starved his sister to death by leaving them and going out of town for weeks on end with no food and water. A concerned neighbor called us and we took action which led to animal control seizing both of them, his sister later died after three weeks of extensive vet care, her heart gave out on her. Boris was not as bad off when we got him and fought to live. Despite his horrid past, this guy holds no ill will towards anyone and is the perfect dog. Anyone lucky enough to adopt him will have ... (Read More)the best friend they have ever had. Boris comes crate trained, housebroken, will use a doggie door if available. Boris comes neutered, double microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and on preventive. Boris is available for adoption worldwide but you must first come here for the meet and greet, we do not ship our dogs. We require a veterinarian reference and valid government ID in order to schedule a meet and greet, and contract prior to adoption. If inquiring about a tenacious/bully breed please have prior experience. When contacting please tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle as this will help us determine if Boris is the perfect fit for your family. Boris has not been fostered out or placed in a boarding kennel. All of our dogs live on the same property in our homes so we know exactly how they are on a day to day basis. If you tell is about yourself we can place the perfect companion with you. We do not place our dogs on a first come first serve basis. We will hold onto them until we find the perfect home for them so we know that they will not be failed again. A requirement of our contract is regular updates for the life of Boris, if you are unwilling to do this, please do not bother emailing us. As an adopter you will have access to our private group page on Facebook and will be able to add pictures/video of Boris as your time allows. We are committed to our dogs from day one until they day they die. Adoption fee $150 (Less)

Maxi, came to us from a local shelter. She was originally pick up as a stray, was adopted and brought back because she does not do well with cats. She is 4-5 years old, has been spayed, tested for heart worm, which was negative and has been brought up to date on all her shots. She ... (Read More)is currently being treated for an ear infection, but is doing well with the treatments. So far she has gotten along with the dogs at her foster home, however we have been told she does not get on well with cats. As is often the case with female shepherds, she tends to be a bit on the alpha side when it comes to dogs. She seems to love men and women equally. She would do best in a home experienced with German Shepherds. Her adoption fee is $200. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) so all funds go right back into taking care of these sweet pups. Marsha is a sweet Shepherd/Husky mix with a sweet but a little shy personality, who we believe to be 2-3 years old. She is very shy and submissive to her humans. She will learn to trust with just a little time and patience. Since she came from a high kill shelter as a stray, we ... (Read More)have no way of knowing her back ground. She enjoys belly rubs and scratches behind the ears. She is not a snuggle bunny and will seek out a safe haven inside the home. She prefers to sit at your feet while you pet her.
