She doesn't really like other dogs, but loves all people and loves to give kisses and that you rub her face. She likes car rides and sometimes acts like a cat, acting independent, and pounces. She is cute. The black dog, Ariel is also about 5 and a German shepherd mix. She thinks she is a small dog, but loves everyone. She loves people and will follow you around wherever you go. She loves car rides and loves sticking her head out the window. She will do whatever you tell her, she is very smart. They love each ... (Read More)other so much and love to play and run around hard outside. Ariel loves to fetch, but Alice just likes to chase after Ariel fetching the ball. They like to be active and play, but after a good walk or some attention, they are mellow. They like to go on hikes or long walks, and we actually used to take them rollerblading and running. They are the best of friends as doggy sisters They are both micro chipped, spayed, current on rabies and just had a wellness screening last week. They have not been on heartworm medication for a couple months, but do not have any health concerns. I used to be a groomer, so they are used to being groomed. They know the commands: sit, stay, leave it, drop it, lay down, shake, give me kisses, go find your mother, go find your father, car ride, walk, hungry, food, and probably others. They both love treats, but Ariel more than Alice. They are good with kids, for they are staying with a family of 3 girls under the age of 7 for a couple days, but they have never been around cats. They cannot be around other dogs because they get protective of the owner and each other. They have gotten into the garbage and food if left out when the owners are gone, but don't chew on anything else, except bones or treats they are given. They love kongs, and love running around outside, but need to be on leashes. They slept in our beds or anywhere on the floor, and didn't ever use crates. They are potty trained and do not have strict diets. We adopted them from the SPCA about 4 years ago. Ariel was a stray, and Alice was given up for adoption. (Less) Adoption Fee: $15 Animal Location:
