Stunning Toby, GSD rescued while running across I95! Rescued June 13, 2013. We were on our way to the Everglades to bring more dogs to safety and there was Ranger, right in the middle of I95. We jumped out, stopped all the traffic and thank goodness the angels were with us! Once we were able to surround him, Ranger allowed us to capture him! He had a tag, we called & left a message, but no response. He is gorgeous, very very sweet and needs a foster or adopter desperately. Addy is a 4 year old American German Shepard with a big heart and a lot of love and energy! Addy's current owner is no longer able to give Addy the love and attention she both needs and deserve due to job duties taking him out of the state Monday-Friday. Her owner was kenneling her at a pet resort but realized this is not the best option for Addy, as staying at the resort gave her anxiety (she lost a lot of weight). I have had Addy for 2 months and she is now at her current weight which is 58 pds. I would love to keep her, but I already have a dog and my situation is not conducive to two dogs (no backyard!). Addy is up-to-date on shots and ... (Read More)she is spayed. Her all-time favorite hobby is fetching tennis balls, she could do this for hours! Addy would do best with a family who has a fenced in backyard (get some of that energy out!) and would be able to give her the attention she needs. Addy is a strong girl and walks best with her harness (this is included). She is also smart and catches on quickly with commands (John can go over her commands with you). Addy is also kennel trained and her kennel is included. Addy was raised as an only dog and I have noticed if there is a large dog in the household she will be submissive, but if there is a small dog in the household she may try to dominate.
