Rescue Me ID: 14-11-04-00098Sasha (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Needs to be Spayed

Sasha is a three year old female Airedale/Shepherd mix. Sasha is a very independent dog and would fit in very well with a family or a person where there is lots of room to wander and roam. Sasha seems to be a very curious dog and is aware of what is going on around her. Due to Sasha's curiosity and independent nature, she will need a home with a sturdy fence and lots of space to exercise as she has exhibited Houdini-like behavior in the past. She does not seem to bark very much and is fairly quiet. Sasha is a very happy dog that has a tireless wagging tail and a big doggy smile that would brighten anyone's day. Sasha would do very well in a ... (Read More)more active family that could take her on long walks or daily jogs. From what we understand, Sasha is mostly housed trained and has some basic training and understands the sit command very well. For those of you that are looking for a quiet, more independent type of dog, Sasha may be a good fit. She would also make a great jogging or hiking companion. To meet Sasha, visit the rescue during business hours, 11 am - 4 pm daily. (Less)
