PEPPER NEEDS A NEW HOME: She is a 3 year old German Shepard, good with kids, a little wary of strangers at first and then will warm up. LOVES to play fetch, good with other dogs and has been boarded at Camp Bow Wow and did well. She has mostly been an outdoor dog and crated in the garage at night, however is potty trained in the house. Being a young GS, she will need quite a bit of exercise and activity. She would love to be an integral part of the family. Call or text 208-703-1727 if interested. A fenced yard with a 6 foot fence is required, and all animals in the home must be fixed.

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-05-00451Maxwell (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

My landlord said I could get a dog, but not an aggressive one. So I did. She did not, however, mention that if I got 'anything with pit in it' she would kick me out. I have until the end of the month to be out and am unable to find a rental that allows pits. Rehoming him is my last resort. Maxwell is a medium energy pit mix who is well-behaved, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, lie down), does not chew on things other than bones, loves long walks or hikes, and very rarely barks. I also have a kennel, some toys, dog food, treats, and bowls. Please let me know if you would like to set up a meet and greet. I won't let him go to just anyone ... German Shepherd    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Female Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Hip Dysplasia

Very friendly, but not with large males dogs. Didn't bother our Dachshunds much but was nice. Still a virgin dog. Playful, used to sleeping in house if able, house broken. Loves to play keep away or fetch, mostly prefers to take the ball and make you run after her. Has some spots on her eyes but sees well from what we can tell. Leash is so so, as we have had her on five acres all her life so she stayed in a fenced property and knew her boundary limits with it, did leash with her when outside property lines and listened. Barks at large wildlife, deer, moose, bear if in the area. Ignores squirrels mostly and ignores turkeys, or has ... (Read More)never attacked them ever, just watched them when they came in the yard. Rescue Me ID: 16-07-30-00429Abbie (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Abbie is a sweet, five year old, pure bred female German Shepherd. She is great around our family. Very fun loving and protective, but she is not good around new people or animals. She loves playing fetch and getting soaked with the hose. We moved 1 year ago to a rural setting where she is surrounded by new people and especially animals, and Abbie has not been able to adjust. She is fine with my wife and I, and our kids, but she goes nuts when someone new visits. She is fine with our other dog, but she goes crazy if she smells or sees another animal. Her surroundings are completely stressing her out (pacing/barking/whining all the time). ... (Read More)It's not fair to her, and she needs a better situation. (Less)
