Animal ID: MAGNUMMAGNUM (male)
This guy is Magnum! We are estimating his age at 5 months and could be a German Shepherd mix. He is a handsome guy and is full of puppyness! He walks on the leash but only with part of it in his mouth! He also will carry around any toy you give him and has even started to figured out what the game of fetch is all about. Magnum is still a puppy, so he will need help in the potty training department along with training classes. Due to Magnum being an adorable bouncy puppy, a home with small children would not be a good fit for Magnum. Please contact us if interested in Magnum!

Animal ID: A32095453Kilo (male)
Introducing Kilo! Kilo is a 10-year-old German Shepherd who is looking for a warm and comfy home to curl up in! Kilo is a very well mannered dog who enjoys spending time with adults and kids! This guy does need to be the only dog in the house but he has lived with cats before so he may be open to a cat friend. This guy would love a home where he can be someone's side kick and companion. Kilo really is a gentleman who listens well and would enjoy leisurely walks with a friend and of course a large dog bed in front of the fire! Come meet Kilo today!

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-12-00185Chrissy (female)
FOSTER LOCATION: Twin Falls, ID Chrissy is a 2 year old 30lb mix (shepherd + lab + something smaller?) who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from a local shelter. Chrissy originally came to Idaho from Texas with a case of heartworm; a bottle cap in her stomach and a healthy fear of humans. Treatment for the heartworm; surgery to remove the bottle cap and a lot of time/love/patience and Chrissy is ready to find her forever home. Sadly Chrissy is still very unsure of people; but we know that her staying in foster care is not going to help her grow and she needs a family of her own that will help with that. She has made decent progress in her foster home but will still routinely seek the safety of a corner behind furniture or inside her crate when she gets overwhelmed. This little girl has a huge heart that is just waiting for the right person to unlock it. Chrissy must go to a home with a confident, friendly dog. In her foster home, she closely watches the resident dog for guidance. If the foster mom is petting the resident dog, Chrissy will come close for affection. If the resident dog takes a treat, then Chrissy will as well. She does well on hikes and enjoys her walks; she will run if she sees the leash but will soon stop and sit to be leashed. She is calm and relaxed out in the yard so a yard with at least a 6' fence is a must for her. She is housetrained and crate-trained; she is trustworthy to be left loose in the home when her people leave. Her adopter must be extremely calm and patient, willing to give Chrissy space and time to trust. She will need a family that can give her a routine and consistency in her life. Chrissy has the potential to become a loyal, loving dog but will need to find the perfect home to achieve that. We know from watching her grow while she has been with us that in the right home Chrissy will thrive. Chrissy is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $50.00. If you feel you are the right person for this lovely dog please fill out an application at: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ (Less)

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
