    Lady is a 2-yr. old German Shepherd mix. She is current on her shots, is microchipped, and we can spay. Although heartworm positive, she can be easily treated with Heartguard and doxycycline. Lady is intelligent and eager to please. She would make a wonderful companion or family pet.

    Penlope aka Nellie is a female mixed breed(possibly of German Shepherd, Doberman/lab). She was born about 7/4/14. She is spayed,heartworm negative, and up to date on shots. Poor Nellie was found hit by a car in the middle of the road. Luckily for her someone came along and saw her and she was quickly taken to the vet. Nellie is all healed now and in search of a new home that will keep her out the road. She does well with cats, kids and other dogs.

    Buzz is a male Boxer/Bull Terrier who was born about 9/2011. He is up to date on shots and neutered. Buzz is an alpha male and doesn't do well with another alpha male, but is good with female dogs and submissive males. He is good with kids. Buzz showed up in the parking lot of a salon one day, he thought he needed a haircut, but the salon staff thought he could do without a cut and dry so instead called our rescue to come help with this cute pup. Can you be the home for Buzz where he can get regular baths and blow dry so he doesn't have to wander the streets and find a salon on his own.

German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
