German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Name: Bennie Sex: Male Breed: Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix Age: 1 yr old Weight: 35 lbs Good with: People, kids and dogs. Not tested with cats Hello...I'm Bennie and I'm brand new to my foster home! I am so happy in my new life and am learning so many things, like how to sit and stay. I am an active boy and love playing and going for walks, especially sniffing around in the woods. I'd really enjoy having a fenced yard to run off my energy, but if not, I need to be with someone who likes to get out and about a fair amount. I like to eat cookies and treats and chew on bones. I can be protective of my food, so have to be fed separately from ... (Read More)other dogs'|.at least until I learn they aren't going to take my food. I do get along with other dogs and I like the few kids I've met. I sleep in my crate at night like a good boy. I'm a little afraid of loud noises, so a chaotic home probably wouldn't be a great match for me. I would love to meet you...I hope you feel the same! Please note: We can only adopt in the states of MA, CT and NH If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application at or email with any questions (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-31-00241Frankie (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Name: Frankie Sex: Female Breed: Shepherd Mix Mix Age: 4 years old Weight: 35 lbs Good with: People, children over 12 and dogs with proper introduction. Likes to chase cats. Hi! My name is Frankie and I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I've been waiting a really long time for my forever family to find me and I'm getting kind of worried. I don't understand why I haven't been adopted, because I am super sweet and very pretty. I am good with dogs, sometimes I want to be the alpha but I quickly become best friends regardless of the pecking order. I do like to try to chase small animals I see. I have met cats and I want to chase ... (Read More)them. I have met my foster mom's 5 year old niece, and although I have been good around her, I would do better with older children who do not make as many sudden unexpected movements. I'm supposed to tell you my favorite treat, but I love them all!!! I am very food motivated and have yet to find one I do not love. I am smart! I know: sit, paw, high five, lay down, stay (which I am very good at)! I have improved on the leash and don't pull it too much anymore. I love to go trail running! I was scared of the car at first but have quickly discovered that often car rides end with me getting to go for a long walk or run which is a blast! I used to have some difficulty meeting new people at first. Although I have done very well at my foster mom's house with all new guests, she has them slowly approach me just so I know they are nice people and I'm aware of what they are doing there. I'm a good sleeper, either on my fosters mom's bed at night or any dog bed laying around the house during the day. I have excellent potty skills and have not had any accidents. I am a very loveable dog who likes to be around people. I follow my foster mom around her house almost every time she gets up. I am VERY food motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat! I am REALLY ready for my happily-ever-after. Is it with you?? Please note: We can only adopt in the states of MA, CT and NH (Less)
