Rescue Me ID: 18-05-14-00226Kimber (female)
Kimber has been a part of our family since the age of 13 weeks. June 2017, my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and Kimber was sent to a foster family, who we believe had kids that were abusive towards her. After my husband passed, Kimber came back home, but is no longer trusted around my 2 young children. Kimber needs a home ASAP with no children, and somebody who is familiar with the breed, and can give her the attention she needs and deserves.

Rescue Me ID: 18-05-06-00046Rivers (female)
Hi! I'm Rivers and I'm a very sweet 9 month old pit/Shepard mix that needs a new home. My mommy and daddy love me so much, but I don't get along with my animal brothers and sisters. I need to be the only pet in a house where I am loved just as much as I am here! I am great with kids and adults and try my best to listen. I am a good cuddler love playing with my human kid sister. I need to find a new home fast so I don't hurt one of the other animals in my house.

Rescue Me ID: 18-05-05-00140Nala (female)
Nala is a 6 year old beautiful brindle Pitbull/German Shepherd mix who has been with one owner since rescued at 7 months old. She is an awesome companion and is such a sweetheart. She is very bubbly and loving. She is very smart and knows commands like sit, stay, paw, lay down and even is trained to shut cabinet drawers! Nala loves to keep an eye on her owner and while sometimes likes her own space, she suffers from separation anxiety. While being left alone she will not eat/drink water and being a single adult Male, my job has been keeping me away from her longer than she deserves. She would be best in a home that has a stay at home owner or multiple family members to give her the attention and love she deserves. Nala would also prefer a fenced in backyard as she loves to be chased around in the yard and run! She is up to date on shots/vaccines, a healthy 48LBS and comes with EVERYTHING needed (high end crate, TONS of toys, food dishes, Leashes, Collars, Outdoor stake & leash, Large dog bed, some food/treats ect..) Nala is microchipped and can be registered under new owner for small fee online. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-04-15-00330Tatum (female)
Tatum is a great girl, she loves her tennis balls and bottles, loves playing tug a war with ropes. The only reason for rehoming is due to her not being compatible with my lab. She has been very aggressive (attacking my lab) and I cannot take any risks of serious injury. She is not compatible with any other animals but is good around adults and kids. The rehoming fee is just to ensure she gets to a good home, will come with dog crate, food dish, and toys.

Rescue Me ID: 18-04-13-00189Jackson (male)
4 year old German Shepherd. HE NEEDS AN OWNER EXPERIENCED WITH A DOG WITH A DOMINENT PERSONALITY. He definitely an alpha male, and shows it. Not good with kids or other small animals. He is ok with an animal his size. Very territorial. He had been a loyal companion for 4 years. Has been taken to dog training and is very intelligent. Weighs 90-105 lbs. Is in need of vaccinations THIS SUMMER. We are looking to expand our family and we feel strongly that a child around him wouldn't be the best fit. Looking for a good home and will be very selective! Though Jackson comes with some issues, he has been a great dog. He will love someone unconditionally to his dying day. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-04-12-00025Brody (male)
Brody, the 5 yr old German Shepherd is looking for his forever home. He is housebroken and crate trained, neutered, and UTD on vaccinations. This sweet and gentle giant may be intimidating looking because of his size, but he is the most docile guy with such a submissive personality. Brody does great with the other dogs of any size, and any human he meets, but would love a home without cats or other small animals. He'd best thrive in a calm and quiet environment. He's so well behaved and has many years of love to give! Brody becomes attached to his people very quickly and loves to be anywhere his people are at. His adoption fee is $350 with an approved application (along with the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application. If you have any further questions or would like the adoption application, please contact us! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-03-19-00185Charlie (male)
Charlie is missing a leg, but don't tell him that...he gets along just as well as a four-legged dog! He is a one year old GSD/Lab mix who gets along with dogs of all sizes. He is very shy and submissive, so a physically fenced yard is required with his adoption (no invisible fences). He also loves to play with other dogs, so a home with another playful dog is preferred. Children over 10 only please due to his shy nature. Charlie is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.00. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about Charlie!
Branch County Bronson, MI MAP IT!
Rescue Me ID: 16-05-02-00084Trumbull (male)
Trumbull is a two year old goofball. He loves to go for walks and is very gentle on a leash. He has never lived in a house, so his manners aren't great. He is very eager to please and likes to learn new tricks. Trumbull loves to spend time running and playing in the yard. He has recently learned how to run next to a bike! He should not go to a home with cats or small kids. He can play rough with other dogs, but he really does like them. Trumbull is potty trained and crate trained. Plus he knows his basic commands! If you are interested in adopting Trumbull please fill out an application on our website: www.dawghous.com

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
