Rescue Me ID: 16-04-26-00220Roary (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

My 4 year old German Shepherd Roary is a beautiful female Czech line working GSD. She is spayed and up to date on shots. She is the most loyal, protective, loving, sweetheart of a dog that I have ever met. Being a working line GSD, she needs constant companionship and attention. I enrolled her in a 2 month training/boarding facility last fall where she received 3 training sessions a day with a professional dog handler. At the boarding facility, she was known as 'mother goose' as she got along well with all the other dogs and was used to keep them in line. She is feisty, as working lines are known to be, but she did not show any signs of ... (Read More)serious aggression to the other dogs. It is just something going on between her and the other dogs in our home, they just do not get along anymore. Roary needs a home where she will have human companionship for the majority of the day. She does well with men who have a lot of energy and ambition. She is very good at fetch and can play for hours. She is extremely eager to please and is always waiting for the next command. (Less)
