Rescue Me ID: 15-03-22-00581Ace (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Meet Ace! He is a 1 yr old Husky mix. He came in weighing only 32 pounds and very underweight from life on the streets. It didn't appear he had ever had a home or any quality of care when he arrived. Ace is still a puppy and loves to play and would benefit from a puppy class. He is smart so we know he will be a top student! He gets along with everyone in his pack but is the class clown and sometimes like to be a pot stirrer. Ace is a great dog so if you're looking for an active hiking buddy that is loyal and friendly, this is your guy! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. We will be at the Petsmarts in Eagan, MN on ... (Read More)April 18th. He is available for pre-adoption at this time and you can apply for him online at www.tracysdogs.com. His adoption fee is $300. He is absolutely precious and is looking for his forever home! *Please note that not all dogs can attend every event. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete an adoption application on our website. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-02-00598Molly (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis,
 Abused/Neglected, Fearful/Anxious

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only.  Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Molly came to me at age 5 with a history of abuse. I have worked her out of aggression and fear, however she is a highly anxious dog who needs an owner who is home or willing to exercise her a lot. She has the beginning stage of arthritis. She is aloof to other dogs/people except her sister, a corgi mix who lives in my home. She herds my other dog and is aggressive towards her. Molly paces and whines a lot and has a hard time settling down. She had been on fluoxetine but I am no longer able to afford it. I took her in as a temporary placement from her abusive owner prior to knowing what had gone on in her previous home. When I found out I ... (Read More)told the previous owner not to come back for her or I would call the police. She willingly gave up Molly to me and I have had her since then for about 6 years. I am limited in time and money and I know in my heart I am not the right handler for her. She is miserable and my heart is broken to think about re-homing her so late in her life. But I want her to be happy. She is a special case and will need to be re-homes to an experienced GSD handler or canine professional. (Less)
