Rescue Me ID: 16-12-01-00343Holly (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed

Holly is a dark sable Purebred GSD. She is beautiful. She is smart. She loves people, both adults and kids. She is dog aggressive and has attacked a male Beagle very seriously. For this reason I would never leave her with another animal or a child. She needs to be properly trained and socialized with other dogs. I am too afraid to do this with her. I want her to go to someone that is good with training German Shepherds. I feel strongly that Holly will attack another dog if given the chance; gets out of the house, yard, etc.. I am hoping there is someone out there that has faith in training her.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-08-00228Trigger (male)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Very very good dog. He is 2 years old, listens well. He has a dribbling problem that he cannot control. We are sad to put him up for adoption because he is such a god dog, but we have babies that crawl and with his dribbling we can't have him in the house. Some vets think he has an ectopic ureter and others say they aren't sure. We don't have the money to have the problem fixed or even diagnosed. Looking for a home where he can be outside or someone who has the funds to have the dribbling fixed. He is an incredible dog. If someone is willing to adopt him we would love to be able to come visit him.

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
