He is generally not trusting of strangers and can be startled by loud noises which is why I say no small kids. Older kids, he'd be fine. This is a super sweet family dog, about 7 years old, loves long walks, and treats. Housebroken and basic obedience. No kennel needed. This dog will not even chew his toys up. E-mail me for more info if you may be Ed's perfect home.

Sam is an 18 month old intact male Sheperd/Pitbull mix. He is extremely friendly and lovable. He was diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia that will required bilateral FHO surgeries in order to relieve the pain he is in. Unfortunately, the owner is unable to pay for these surgeries, and has been unable to find a rescue that will take Sam. Because he is very painful, he will need to find a home within the next few days, or the owner will be forced to humanely euthanize him.
