Tucker has a great personality, and needs to go to a loving home able to provide him with the stimulation needed to keep his brain working. He is very intelligent and does well with frequent walks. He is a sweetheart and likes to curl up on the couch with anyone that wants to give him attention. He is approximately 70 pounds but thinks he is a lap dog. We do not have children, but he has done well with friends kids and kids saying 'hi' on walks. He must go to a home with no cats or other small animals. We are having to rehome him due to conflicts with our family cat. He has a very strong prey drive for squirrels, rabbits, or other small rodents encountered while out and about, which occasionally results in needing to hold on tight to the leash. He gets along well with other dogs after an initial introduction. He wants to play rough and this can appear to be aggressive to some, and may bark at other dogs on walks. He gets along extremely well with our other family dog. We will miss Tucker greatly as he is such a fun, loving dog. However, the cat has been here for 10 years and takes precedent. (Less)

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Very very good dog. He is 2 years old, listens well. He has a dribbling problem that he cannot control. We are sad to put him up for adoption because he is such a god dog, but we have babies that crawl and with his dribbling we can't have him in the house. Some vets think he has an ectopic ureter and others say they aren't sure. We don't have the money to have the problem fixed or even diagnosed. Looking for a home where he can be outside or someone who has the funds to have the dribbling fixed. He is an incredible dog. If someone is willing to adopt him we would love to be able to come visit him.

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
