Rescue Me ID: 16-07-08-00228Trigger (male)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Very very good dog. He is 2 years old, listens well. He has a dribbling problem that he cannot control. We are sad to put him up for adoption because he is such a god dog, but we have babies that crawl and with his dribbling we can't have him in the house. Some vets think he has an ectopic ureter and others say they aren't sure. We don't have the money to have the problem fixed or even diagnosed. Looking for a home where he can be outside or someone who has the funds to have the dribbling fixed. He is an incredible dog. If someone is willing to adopt him we would love to be able to come visit him.

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-11-00177Rocky (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Rocky is 5 years old and 83 lbs. He absolutely loves his people. He seeks out touch and will ask you to pet him by putting his head in your lap, or nuzzling your hand. After he knows you well, he likes to give kisses! He is housetrained, and never destroys your belongings. He walks well on a leash, unless he sees another dog (then he will pull all the way home). He has a history of aggression with other dogs, and needs to be the only pet in the house. He also has a very high prey drive towards cats, and shouldn't be allowed to interact with small children. More about his aggression: Rocky is very anxious about other dogs; this is what ... (Read More)drives his aggression towards them. Someone who has experience with reactive dogs, or is willing to learn about reactivity, would be an ideal owner for Rocky. I have taken him to two six-week sessions of 'reactive rehab' dog training classes using clicker training and positive reinforcement, and he has improved greatly. Whereas he used to sprint towards the window and bark like crazy if there was another dog outside, he now is much more calm and doesn't feel the need to guard the windows like he used to. A nightly 8-minute 'relaxation protocol' has made him a much calmer dog as well. If other dogs are nowhere to be found, Rocky is a very laid-back guy. He loves following you from room to room so he can lie down by your feet. He doesn't care about fetch at all, but loves his flirt pole, and likes to play chase. He loves going on a walk or a run with you. 'Outside' is probably his favorite word. Medical notes: Rocky hates getting his nails clipped and needs to wear a muzzle when getting a trim. Most of his front teeth are broken and will need attention sooner than later. If he is on lower quality kibble, he becomes prone to dandruff and ear infections. He is fixed, heartworm-free, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Good manners: Rocky will NOT break into your garbage, chew up your things, bark at you (he prefers to make a yawning noise if he wants to talk to you), dig up your yard, steal your food, or jump up on guests! He knows sit, lay down, leave it, and come. He will be an amazing, loving pet for someone who wants to spoil him with attention and belly rubs. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-30-00135Delila (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I'm a 5 1/2 yr old Female, White German Shepherd. I'm looking for a loving home with a Large Fenced yard so i can stretch my legs. I am spayed and up to date with my shots and in good health. I dislike loud noises like Thunder, Gunshot and fireworks. It scares me! I seem gentle and timid at first meeting new people, but I like the attention. I need to be convinced to take a bath but once you are rubbing soap all over me I like it just fine. I really need a fenced yard to go out to play in, or I might wander off if you quit paying attention to me. Yea I will come back, because you feed me and take care of me and Love me. I ... (Read More)can get a bit excited if it is time to go for a walk and yea I may pull a little but soon we will be just crusing along. I am not good with other animals most of the time, but not always. I have a kitty brother that eats in the bowl with me sometimes. With a great loving home I'm a great loving dog. I enjoy hanging in the house and out of the heat. but I'm ready to go for a ride. I don't normally bark much but I will let you know if someone shows up either animal or people. I'm a 115#s of muscle and yea there is a little fat too. I can be real good most of the time but some dogs just make my hair stand up a little. Maybe I'm a loner. ExtraPoints if you are retired and have lots of time to hang around together. I live in a house and Need a good home with a FENCE, I cannot be chained up it does not match my PERSONALITY, Thanks very much. I may be leary of a new owner, but bribe me with lots of love and a few treats and you will have me eating out of your hand in no time. My mom and dad will do the talking for me to help me find my new best friend. Serious inquiry only please. Thanks, Delila (Less)
