I found 'Lucy' half starved & flea ridden. I have 8 at home & can't take in any more. I will have her spayed, shots, etc. She is very friendly & I think very trainable. I think would make a great family dog or companion animal.

Ace is one of the most unusual and uniquely beautiful dogs I have seen in awhile. He has this absolutely gorgeous coat in browns and almost a silvery look making the overall coat have a sable look to it. It is very soft and relatively short hair and doesn't shed much at all. Ace was picked up locally by our animal control officer. Ace was just hanging around a community grocery store. Appeared very friendly, but in need of a home. The store owner called to have him picked up and that's how we met Ace. Ace appears to be a Lab/shepherd mix. Full grown at his 50 lbs. As friendly and playful as a new puppy. He has been kenneled with ... (Read More)dogs his size and with even puppies and he is as gentle and playful as can be. Has recently been moved to foster care and is learning how to sit and to shake and doing quite well. I envision Ace as being a perfect dog for a single guy looking for a running/walking partner to take to the dog park with him. Ace just has that look about him of being a loyal companion to someone with an active lifestyle. Handsome dog! Lots more photos available. (Less)

This beautiful German Shepard came up in our yard about 4 months ago during a storm, we believe he was dropped off an abandoned! We have fed him and tried to take care of him the best we could while trying to find him a good home! A few people asked about getting him but we didn't feel it was in the best interest of Sarge! Please help us give him a great loving home where he can run and play! We live next to a major highway and for his safety we have had to chain him up to keep him from being killed in traffic! We don't like chaining up our animals but we felt it was for his safety!

Brando is a male shepher mix around 5 to 6 months old. Going to be a large dog. Really big feet to grow into. Brando's coat is a beautiful golden blond tint. Maybe mixed with yellow lab because of the lightness in coat. Great age to adopt this dog while still young. Great family pet.

Hey guys, this is Semper. He's an Akita/German Shepherd mix. He was rescued from an abusive situation that resulted in his right front leg being amputated. He and several other Cheshire Abbey dogs are currently in my care to help with socialization and keeping the Abbey's boarding bills low. This big boy is an absolute teddy bear! As you can see he loves to play and wrestle. He does settle down after a bit and would make a great family companion. He does, however, need to be the only dog in the family. I would also recommend, due to his boisterous nature, that he be placed with a family that has older kids. Little ones will get knocked over ... (Read More)and could get hurt. He is very smart and can still be trained. He's about 3-4 years old, neutered and UTD on vaccines. Not to be placed with a family that won't let him inside. Another video of his training here: (Less)
