Personality: High Energy, Submissive

Sweet, special needs dog, needs loving home. Deyter is a 14 month old German Shepard. He has had a tough life, so far he has had 6 homes. He has been physically abused and possibly starved. I thought I could help this dog, but my home is not the right place for him. He has anxiety issues. He is very nervous and is easily over-stimulated. He gets easily startled by neighbors, Street traffic, or foot traffic. Deyter is not typically agressive, but can be over protective when startled. He does tend to spin and snap at his tail obsessively when he gets nervous. Serious inquiries only. Deyter is a special dog and I am looking for the ...     Scout has a great personality with people. He does have lack of mobility in his back legs from a past injury or neurologically.... We have him into Physical Therapy with the Cold Laser Light, we have begun some leg strengthening to help regain some muscle tone so we can begin swimming. A no-animal or small children home is preferred. If you can give this great guy a home and be able to continue his strength training; let us know. Check out his videos and updates on the Facebook group page 'Find Scout a home'!
