Rescue Me ID: 14-10-19-00284Bear (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Bear is a rambunctious 9 month old malamute german shepherd mix with a huge grin and a continually wagging tail :) Bear is a sweetheart but he does need a bit of training. Right now he is a big excitable puppy, wanting to play all the time and reveling in human affection. This boy would be best in a home without cats due to his desire to chase them, and would probably do better with older children until he is trained not to jump up on people. Bear is also very cutely clumsy right now, not having fully grown into his feet :) Bear will make a handsome addition to a home that loves the malamute breed because he seems to have a lot of the ... (Read More)malamute personality. Bear is somewhere between 70 and 80 lbs. right now and will probably be near 100 lbs. when full grown. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-15-00816Richy (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Richy is an adorable 6 month old puppy that found himself in a municipal shelter in WA before he made his way to TRACS. Richy has some of the softest fur we have ever felt which is surprising due to his labby face. We believe this boy to be a lab shepherd mix with possibly some queensland heeler thrown in. He is very smart and extremely sweet. He does appear shy on occation and enjoys being reassured by his humans. This pup should mature at between 40 and 60 lbs. And is looking for a wonderful home to grow into.

Animal ID: 14-4129Rufus (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Hip Dysplasia

Rufus is a special dog, he recently had hip replacement surgery and is looking for a forever home that will allow him to heal, he loves walks and being with his people. He will not do well in a family with cats or with children. He does tolerate other dogs but because of his surgery its best for him to be an only dog. He is very well mannered, smart and calm. Rufus does love his belly rubbed, and enjoys car rides; he sure does deserve a quiet home.
