Meet Kelly a 1 yr. old brindle Shepherd X rescued from the reservation. This girl is one of my favorites because her personality is sweet, friendly and she's oh so athletic! She's a medium sized dog with lots of Pizazz as she loves to play in fact right now she is our top dog for play group! There's no question this girl likes to have fun and with her favorite boy or girlfriends. When it comes to cats it's a no go but kids over 10 are in like flyn. Kelly is very quick and agile and she loves more than anything to run and she's fast. She would blossom in a home that loves the outdoors. Kelly would love to go for a daily run, jog or hike and ... (Read More)she loves to exercise. She's a dog that you can take anywhere since she gets along so well with people and most dogs. She has a shy and timid personality but she does warm up with fun times. Kelly loves to play with other dogs but she does resource guard her food so separate feedings is required. This little pop princess is my kind of girl and once you get to know her you can't help but fall in love with her! Come and meet the box office sleeper Kelly! Once you see her you will give her rave reviews! She is very intelligent so a six foot fence or bubble fence is a good idea as she has been known to escape. One more bonus she's 100% housebroke and can hold it for at least 10 hours. If I was looking she'd be the one i would be picking! (Less)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Shay is a very friendly german shepherd cross who loves to hike. She has a buddy beagle named 'Barley' who is also posted on rescue me she would love to be adopted out with due to the change in the fostering/living arrangement. Shay does have a disease of the pancreas. It is an insufficiency in which she has to have a medicated power added to each meal. I will do what ever I can to support getting the powder at a cheaper cost. Shay is good with everyone she loves to bounce up and kiss you when ever you come home. She is mellow at home and is not food aggressive. I initially rescued Shay from the vet's/boarding when her owners neglected ... (Read More)to pick her up. She was then adopted by my best friend who suddenly died in 2009. I have fostered her since. She will be lonely if left alone all day unless her buddy 'Barley' is with her and a couple big bones. Shay needs a fenced yard and does wander off but eventually comes home. Shay is good with grooming and obeys to lay down when commanded. I am willing to negotiate the donation fees if Shay and Barley are adopted together. Please take a second to check out Barley and see if this couple will suit your dog needs. (Less)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Hip Dysplasia

Rufus is a special dog, he recently had hip replacement surgery and is looking for a forever home that will allow him to heal, he loves walks and being with his people. He will not do well in a family with cats or with children. He does tolerate other dogs but because of his surgery its best for him to be an only dog. He is very well mannered, smart and calm. Rufus does love his belly rubbed, and enjoys car rides; he sure does deserve a quiet home.
