Salinger is smart as a whip. Has been in training and has learned sit, stay, come, heel, leave it, drop it, bring here, and is taking dog training walks with a group of dogs with a professional trainer. He had great potential to overcome his dog aggression issues. He is loyal and loves people, loves to play fetch, has never had an accident in the house, and is being kennel trained too. He just needs an owner who has the time to dedicate to his training.

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Hip Dysplasia

Rufus is a special dog, he recently had hip replacement surgery and is looking for a forever home that will allow him to heal, he loves walks and being with his people. He will not do well in a family with cats or with children. He does tolerate other dogs but because of his surgery its best for him to be an only dog. He is very well mannered, smart and calm. Rufus does love his belly rubbed, and enjoys car rides; he sure does deserve a quiet home.
