Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Deaf

This is Axel and he is a gem of a dog. He may not be completely deaf, however he does suffer from at least some hearing loss. He is incredibly loving. He does have his more aloof moments but we truly don't believe that he has ever been a loved family member before. He is also in current need of a FOSTER or he will have to go to boarding and that's not going to help.

New write up for Cooper. Cooper is a 6 month old hound mix. He is currently about 27 lbs. Cooper LOVES to play and is very active, his favorite evening activity is playgroup with lots of active doggy friends. He has a lot of puppy energy and needs adequate exercise and attention. He knows sit and we are working on Stay, touch, Leave It and Drop It. He is doing well with potty training and is kennel trained but may have an accident if left over 8 hours. He also likes to be around his humans. Cooper has really blossomed with positive reinforcement training and structure (set times for meals, play, potty et cetera) and attention. With time ... (Read More)and attention Cooper is on the road to being the best dog he can be. Because he is still a work in progress we recommend no kids under 10. Cooper is microchipped, UTD on shots and is neutered. If you are interested in Cooper, please fill out an adoption application at www.bassetandbeagle.org (Less)
