Rescue Me ID: 17-08-18-00293Cruz (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

This sweet boy is Cruz. Cruz came with his sister from St. Croix. They were street dogs, knew very little kindness, and actually watched their sister be hit and killed by a vehicle. We agreed to take them however due to luck and weather restrictions they arrived months before we were expecting them. They were in boarding for a bit and then arrived to us in Sidney. They went to 2 temp fosters who were both awesome! When one went to Kearney she took them as both had foster offers in Kearney. Cruz's foster wasn't fit and ended up dropping him off at the vets office and leaving without our permission. While we are glad that he's safe as his ... (Read More)foster wasn't obviously a safe option, he needs a committed loving adopter!!! He is fully vetted (yes this means he's neutered). He is dog friendly but doesn't like rambunctious puppies in his face. He's done pretty well on house training and crate training. He charmed all the vet staff who can't stop singing his praises. He's a shorter guy medium sized, maybe some kind of Dachshund, Lab, Shepherd mix? Whatever he is he's adorable and charismatic and will absolutely bring personality, levity and laughs to any home that gives him a chance. (Less)

Meet Amelia, she is a 1-3 year old German Shepherd mix. Amelia's was stuck in a shelter trembling and confused. No one even noticed her as she seemed so shy and sat in her run quivering. We noticed her and pulled her to safety. She's kennel and house trained, not sure how she ended up in Animal Control but someone else's loss can be your gain! Amelia arrives tomorrow and is searching for a FURever home. She's fully vetted and tested HW+ but we will check her again and treat accordingly. She is super dog friendly, very cat curious so we aren't sure about them, she's kid friendly and truly is one of the sweetest and most captivating dogs ever ... (Read More)which is shocking as she's a quieter girl. She's an old soul with a calm and incredibly sweet demeanor. She's looking for a foster or FURever home in our area! Do you think you could help her? (Less)

This is Max. He and his brother were surrendered to Paws UP after being found running their small town one too many times. They are now looking for families that will keep them safe and a part of their home, not left outside. Max is about 4-5 years old. He is currently very underweight but with time, I'm sure you can fatten him up! Max was in another rescue prior to the home with Trevor. Whatever is past, he is scared upon meeting people but warms up quickly. He is good with kids and other dogs too. No little animals as sometimes while running town, that was dinner :( If interested in Max, let us know!
