Rescue Me ID: 15-11-15-00224Cutie (female)
Cutie is as Cutie does. She is a female, German Shepherd and approximately two years old. A new mom, she recently gave birth to six babies. She is super petite and it's hard to believe she had so many! Cutie is a darling and gets along with both male and female dogs. She is now crate trained, sits on command and comes when called. She will be spayed when the puppies are weaned, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations. If you want a sweet, petite German Shepherd, Cutie would be the one for you!!!

Rescue Me ID: 15-11-05-00334 (female)
She is a very outgoing and lovable dog. She loves kids and loves to cuddle... We live up against a farm and we have spent over $500 to keep her in the yard and she keeps finding ways out. The farmer behind us said he will shoot her next time she gets out... She is not harmful to his cows just keep a cows away from the water and they are pregnant. Please we are looking for her a great family home. Thank you!

Rescue Me ID: 15-11-03-00420Charming (male)
This is Charming, we love him very much but with the current change in our work schedules we dont have the time to take care of him like we should. He is ok with being inside, pees when he gets excited, he also is very well outside just needs some toys to keep himself entertained. He would probably be better off in a yard then an apartment like we have to offer right now.

Meet Colby! Colby is an 8 yr old male, lab/sheph/pit mix.... neutered, chipped, and current on his vaccines. This sweet boy is in need of a new home. He's great with all people, kids and other dogs. He's also house trained. Unfortunately his owner had to move and couldn't take him with him.
Animal ID: 14NV1730205Sarge (male)
Isn't it bad enough that a 9 year old shepherd has to spend 10 minutes in the local kill shelter? Imagine a senior shepherd spending 10 long days sitting in a cold cement kennel, waiting for the owner that never comes. That's exactly what Sarge was forced to do. Stressful? So stressful that in those 10 days, magnificent Sarge lost 21 pounds! But did Sarge give up? No, he didn't. He was happy and excited to get out of his kennel and greeted the VSR volunteer like he had known her for years. Sarge is still a playful and silly dog who deserves a family that will cherish him and show him the love he deserves in his golden years. Filling out our online adoption application and setting aside the adoption donation of $225 is what's needed to make Sarge a member of your family. So shine up those shoes, shower and shave, because that's what it will take to change the world for this gorgeous guy. (Less)

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
