Rescue Me ID: 14-08-25-00264Buddy (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Vaccinations Current

This beautiful boy Buddy was adopted from Luvable Dog Rescue as a puppy and due to some unfortunate circumstances needs to find a new home. He is a little over a year and he is a German Shepard and Staffordshire mix. This entire litter of puppies have turned out to be very smart, loyal and loving dogs, they are however working breed dogs and need a home that will keep them busy and help give them plenty of ways to release their energy. Buddy has lived with another dog his entire life and would love to find a home with another k9 friend. We do not know how Buddy is with cats, but we do know he needs to go to a home with no livestock. From ... (Read More)Buddy's previous family- Buddy turned one year old in April and weighs a little under 80 pounds. Beautiful short haired coat. Buddy's eyes are very soulful and he is so loving and sweet. Everyone likes Buddy! His energy level is medium. Not a hyper dog unless someone has a flashlight. He loves to play and chase the light! :) Buddy loves to play with other dogs. Always the submissive guy. After an hour or so of really hard, rough and tumble play, he is tired and takes a nap! We've never seen a hint of aggression with people or other dogs. But he does have a prey drive. He kennels nicely, in fact, he loves his kennel. We leave it open during the day and he naps in it. About 9:00 pm, at the latest, he goes to bed on his own and we close him in at night. He's easily trained with positive reinforcement (FOOD!) loves to please, is completely housebroken and last time I bathed him, he jumped into the tub on his own. He sits, stays pretty well, comes on command majority of the time. He doesn't like to ride in the car (go figure!?!). He slinks to his kennel if you ask. But will comply if you insist and has fun when you get wherever you're going! What he needs: Buddy would be so happy to live with someone who has at least one compatible, medium to large size dog to play with and a home with a large fenced yard that is securely fenced in. He needs someone who will be set boundaries and give him structure. He is so smart but can be a little stubborn or strong-willed at times. He's a wonderful companion for someone who would be able to give him a lot of attention, he lives for social interaction! He truly has a great fun and loving personality. For more information on Buddy and to fill out an application, please email Emma @ elsluvabull@gmail.com (Less)

German Shepherd    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, my name is Ranger, named after The Lone Ranger, a masked legendary hero of yore. I'm a sweet, charming, loving, and playful kind of guy... plus good-looking, if I may say so myself. I get along with everybody, and I love to be loved. I would like a home where I can have a buddy that likes to play chase and likes to wrestle with me. Old codger and grumpy dogs are just too serious for me. I would love to have a huge, fenced back yard or acreage to play on. I am fine with going to dog parks, because I love to play. I am leash, crate, kennel, and house trained. I don't want to be an outdoor only doggy, though. I need to be with my peeps! So, ... Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, my name is Zorro, named after the masked legendary hero. Yes, I'm a very handsome dude, and I'm very smart, too! Although I am fine with other female dogs that respect my space, I would prefer to be the only fur baby in your house. I will follow you around and sit at your feet quietly. I love to chase the ball or a Frisbee, but I prefer not to go to dog-parks. I don't think I would like other doggies chasing my toys. I would run alongside you like a champion, if you like running or jogging. I am very friendly with people, men and women, but probably should be around older, more respectable kiddies. I am very loyal to my people and wish ... (Read More)to be with them whenever possible. I am leash, crate and house trained and have been in 3 months of professional training. I would love to live in a home that has a huge, fenced backyard or acreage to play on. If you show me how much you love me, I will be devoted to you forever. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-29-00583Harley (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Low Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered

My name is Harley, and I will be eight (8) years old in August 2014. I have a warn and loyal personality once I get to know you. I am well housetrained, and would love a family that has time for me and a fenced yard. An adult home or a home with older children would be best When inside I am very quiet and love to beg for a treat with my eyes. When satisfied I will find a quiet place to lay for the evening. Although I spends my time now with three other dogs in a large enclosed area, I needs a home with one-on-one attention. I am a protector. I do not like people on bikes unless I know and trusts them. I could bite someone if I feel ... (Read More)threatened or provoked by our other dogs. I have not been socialized with other dogs besides his current pack, but would probably do well in a neutral zone such as a dog park or if closely supervised. I did respond well to a training collar with the vibration setting only. I needs a home where I can get the attention I deserve. I loves to go for walks on a leash or roam free where he can be supervised. I walk with a loose leash right by your side... I don't like the stray kitties, but I do fine with the chickens. If you might be my forever new family, Please email Fran@k9homefinders.org for an application, and tell us a little about the home you have for me, where you are located, and a phone number would also be nice....I am waiting. No adoption fee, but the Application, a great home is required.....This is a courtesy ad. (Less)
