He was raised by a lady who cared greatly for him, so he is potty trained, leash trained, follows commands such as sit, come, stay and more. He loves to have his face rubbed gently and is a dear dog. He is 16 mos old and the owner who is staying at my house presently until she leaves the state is willing to have him neutered, if you are willing to give him a good home. He weighs about sixty lbs. Easy is a very sweet dark colored German Shepherd Lab mix. He is around 3 years old and has been with us since we rescued him from the Dickson Animal Shelter. He is a bit shy at first and we would prefer to have him taken with his brother, Biggie (white) but he can go seperately. I have recently been diagnosed with a health condition that makes it impossible for me to continue to care for the animals. Biggie is the white dog on the right. These are brothers from the same litter, and Easy is the darker dog on the left. These are wonderful dogs and a great part of our family. We are very sad to have to let them go to another home, but I was just diagnosed with a health issue that makes it impossible for us to keep them. We would love if someone could take them together, but will consider if someone would be able to take one. These boys are on death row and going to go down soon, this shelter I was at today was killing dogs and it was just heartbreaking to see the inmates grabbing dogs and taking them in to kill them. 7 month olds, fully vetted, all ready neutered, no pull fee, up to date on shots, all that they would need is a health cert. and transportation. they are HW negative too. if you can take them that's great, I will hold here for a week or two. shelter says if they get a stay hold verbal, they will hold for a few more days too, got a message from the shelter manager we got till Tuesday. We recused Elvis about 3 months ago,he is now 10 months old. He's supposed to be a red nose pit/shepherd mix. he's about 50lbs and full grown. We had him neutered, shots UTD, & micro chipped. He's a good dog loves to cuddle plays fetch and is slowly learning basic commands, he is also crate trained. He is just too high energy for our home, he is in love with our beagle and refuses to leave her alone. German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
