|Rescue Me ID: 15-10-07-00111Asia (female)|
Asia is a great puppy. She just turned 2. It does take her time to get used to someone. She needs someone to beable to work with training her. She is housebroken. She would do best in a home with older kids. She loves going for walks.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-09-11-00626Frannie (female)|
Frannie ~ Intake date: 3/29/15. Frannie, along with her two pups, Shay and Dawson, were the result of yet another rescue mission from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. The LightShine Rescue Group has been doing some amazing work out on this Reservation to save as many dogs as possible from a nearly certain death and we here at GGOH have been doing our part to help when we can. Frannie is a German Shepherd/Lab mix, approximately 2 years old. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. Frannie is just a lovely, well-behaved dog and was been a very good momma to her babies, both of whom have now been adopted. She would make a wonderful pet for anyone looking to add a medium sized dog into their life. We're excited to have found Dawson and Shay there forever homes, and now we hope daily that someone will come along for Frannie. A medical note on Frannie if you have been following her case - as of mid-August 2015 - Frannie's chemo treatments for her non-cancerous tumor have been going well. She's had three of her six treatments without any side effects whatsoever. We expect the treatments to completely eradicate the tumor and for Frannie to go on living a full and healthy life. We chose chemo treatments for Frannie as the type of tumor she has will often return if not eradicated (rather than just removed) and we definitely do not want this sweet girl to have to go through this again. If you'd like to meet Frannie, please review our adoption policies and procedures and then come on in during visiting hours for an up-close and personal - we just know you're going to love her! |Rescue Me ID: 15-05-13-00283Keyvan (male)|
Desperately searching for 3-6 month foster OR more permanent adoption. Keyvan is an absolutely beautiful (breeds per genetic testing), extremely sweet, very well-behaved, extra large (long torso), 7 yr old, 85 lb. dog. He listens well to commands, (although, per his species, is less-than stellar at listening when bunnies or deer are in sight). He gets along well with most dogs and adores cats. He has never been aggressive. Keyvan utilizes his deep bark when he feels anxious, afraid or protective. He is protective of his person and his home and he is quite fearful/anxious around any aggression in animals or people & thunderstorms. Since he was adopted 3 1/2 yrs ago, Keyvan has gotten 1-4 hrs walking/hiking, playing/dog parks per day and would not thrive spending all day indoors alone, in an environment with a lot of constant commotion, in a condo/apt without outside access, without indoor access or in a kennel or run. He would thrive on a large farm-like or wooded space in which he can explore off-leash or in a home with a large fenced yard and daily walks. He is active when outside and sedentary when indoors. Keyvan is current on all vaccinations, permits, tags, microchip; he takes supplements for hip dysplasia/arthritis and experiences minimal impact from the disorder. He is a wonderful dog that I would keep forever; however, I am struggling with serious health issues that now prevent me from meeting both his and my own needs sufficiently. I would love to find an excellent fit for him. Please contact me if interested in temporary or more permanent adoption or please pass on to anyone you think might be able to assist us. Thank you. |Rescue Me ID: 15-04-29-00564Raven (female)|
Raven is a beautiful but skittish girl. She takes a little bit to warm up to you. We aren't sure what she has been through in her life, but if you are an experienced dog person who is willing to give her the time she needs to build trust, she will be your most loyal best friend. Her insecurities get in the way of her social skills, so she needs somebody who will show her that she deserves to be loved and spoiled and who will build her confidence so she can blossom into the dog she is meant to be. She was one ear that stands straight up and one that lays flat, completely adorable! Please email us if you think you are the perfect home for this gorgeous girl! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-04-10-00635Chloe (female)|
Before inquiring on Cloe, please note that we have a 100 mile adoption radius policy - please see our website for further details. www.ggohinc.com Chloe is a female Shepherd mix; she is approximately 11 years old. Chloe is a very sweet girl who loves to go for walks and snuggle. She is not very fond of other dogs; she is fine when leashed and on walks with others but doesn't do well if she were to mix with them. Chloe is fine with kids, cats and people. She is very much a people pleaser. Chloe came to GGOH in early 2012 when her owners had set out to euthanize her due to an altercation with another dog. Rather than have her lose her life for simply not liking another dog we agreed to have Chloe join us here at Gregory's. Just like some people, there are dogs who prefer to not have others of her own kind in her own personal space - how could we fault her for that! She has done great here with us; she is very friendly with all the volunteers and staff and as stated, is fine with other dogs when supervised and everyone keeps their own space. Great walking partner for an active person! This senior gal has lots of spunk and is looking for the right person to love her and be her guardian. Is it you? Please visit our website (www.ggohinc.com) for further information on our Fencing and Indoor Living policies as well as information regarding our adoption process. (Less)

German Shepherd Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The German Shepherd is a large, highly intelligent working dog. German Shepherds are very protective, but not hostile; they make great guard dogs and wonderful companions. German Shepherds should be well socialized early in life. German Shepherds that are properly trained and socialized are good with children and other pets. This breed can adapt to apartment life with sufficient exercise.
