German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi I'm Andy, a young adult Shepard mix. If you're looking for a large dog who is sweet and handsome I'm your guy. I say large breed because I'm a BIG boy 100lbs is a low estimate. I'm so sweet I love to cuddle I don't chew things ever. I had a problem with marking, I did it twice but my foster mommy stopped me. Other than that I am house trained and haven't marked since. I'm very treat motivated it took two days for my foster mommy to train me to sit lay down and give my paw. I love to be outside and I like to play fetch. I do fantastic with babies they can crawl all over me and I don't mind at all I love the attention. I'm also very careful ... (Read More)around them because I know I'm a big boy. Cats make me curious but I have never hurt a kitty. I'm a happy boy all the time I can be a little fussy in my kennel but usually I just take a nap. My foster daddy doesn't want me to go because I am such a fantastic family dog. To meet me and hopefully give me my forever home please visit www.hopingfurahome.com and fill out an adoption application. Andy's adoption fee is $250 which includes his neuter, all age appropriate shots, microchip and current health certificate. Andy is currently being fostered in Boscobel, WI. (DATCP 403260 SD) (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-03-00500Molly (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

Molly is a good tempered, real easy going dog. He was raised by my stepson and his Dad, but his Dad died in October, and we really need a good home for her. We would keep her but our Siberian won't tolerate her, jealous dog that she is. She has a leg injury (ligament, maybe) that we are not able to financially deal with, and she is on medication for the time being. Great disposition, a bit on the slow side, as she is on meds, but she is great in the house and with kids or adults. Looking for a good home for her, she deserves to be treated well. Thanks

Rescue Me ID: 16-01-11-00127Dakota (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Dakota is 8 years old and we have had her since she was a puppy. In the past year, she has attacked our smaller dog 3 times and has been a little more aggressive towards other female dogs. She has always been great with people and we love her a lot, but we cannot risk her to continue to attack our other dog. We would love for her to find a new home. Owner needs to be active and have a home with no other dogs or kids (she has been around a lot of kids and never attacked, been overly aggressive or growled at a child but just to be cautious). Needs to go to a home that will keep her active. She has been spayed, is up on all of her shots, ... (Read More)house trained and leash trained. (Less)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Frannie ~ Intake date: 3/29/15. Frannie, along with her two pups, Shay and Dawson, were the result of yet another rescue mission from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. The LightShine Rescue Group has been doing some amazing work out on this Reservation to save as many dogs as possible from a nearly certain death and we here at GGOH have been doing our part to help when we can. Frannie is a German Shepherd/Lab mix, approximately 2 years old. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. Frannie is just a lovely, well-behaved dog and was been a very good momma to her babies, both of whom have now been adopted. She would make a ... (Read More)wonderful pet for anyone looking to add a medium sized dog into their life. We're excited to have found Dawson and Shay there forever homes, and now we hope daily that someone will come along for Frannie. A medical note on Frannie if you have been following her case - as of mid-August 2015 - Frannie's chemo treatments for her non-cancerous tumor have been going well. She's had three of her six treatments without any side effects whatsoever. We expect the treatments to completely eradicate the tumor and for Frannie to go on living a full and healthy life. We chose chemo treatments for Frannie as the type of tumor she has will often return if not eradicated (rather than just removed) and we definitely do not want this sweet girl to have to go through this again. If you'd like to meet Frannie, please review our adoption policies and procedures and then come on in during visiting hours for an up-close and personal - we just know you're going to love her! Rescue Me ID: 15-04-10-00635Chloe (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Before inquiring on Cloe, please note that we have a 100 mile adoption radius policy - please see our website for further details. www.ggohinc.com Chloe is a female Shepherd mix; she is approximately 13 years old (as of Oct. 2015). Chloe is a very sweet girl who loves to go for walks and snuggle. She is not very fond of other dogs; she is fine when leashed and on walks with others but doesn't do well if she were to mix with them. Chloe is fine with kids, cats and people. She is very much a people pleaser. Chloe came to GGOH in early 2012 when her owners had set out to euthanize her due to an altercation with another dog. Rather than have ... (Read More)her lose her life for simply not liking another dog we agreed to have Chloe join us here at Gregory's. Just like some people, there are dogs who prefer to not have others of her own kind in her own personal space - how could we fault her for that! She has done great here with us; she is very friendly with all the volunteers and staff and as stated, is fine with other dogs when supervised and everyone keeps their own space. Great walking partner for an active person! This senior gal has lots of spunk and is looking for the right person to love her and be her guardian. Is it you? Please visit our website (www.ggohinc.com) for further information on our Fencing and Indoor Living policies as well as information regarding our adoption process. (Less)
