Rescue Me ID: 14-04-19-00029Enkei (Inky) (female)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is Enkei, our German shepherd/malamute mix. She is a very sweet girl, but unfortunately we will be moving to Colorado into an apartment where dogs are not allowed. Enkei knows basic commands, but would definitely benefit from further training, she is unbelievably smart and has unlimited potential. She does well with dogs she has been around since she was little, but is nervous around new dogs. She has never been around children, but is always around large groups of people and does well with males or females. She would do best in a home with an active owner who is willing to spend one on one time with her. She loves going for crides or ... (Read More)camping in the mountains. She hasn't been know. To chew on things, but if given the opportunity she will eat your socks! I am very sad that she is unable to go with us, and I do not want to take her to a shelter. I will only consider serious inquiries who meet her needs. Thank you, and please contact me with any further questions. (Less)

Animal ID: A079806Sparky (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sparky is an amazing dog but very protective of his person and personal space. He likes to approach you rather than be approached. However if you just let him check you out at his own speed he is a love of a dog, he loves to give hugs and will always be by your side. He has done great with other dogs, we don't recommend him with children not because he doesn't like them but simply because he isn't great with strangers and kids bring lots of strangers over. He has a $50 adoption fee and comes micropchipped, vaccinated(all but rabies) and with a free vet visit.

Rescue Me ID: 14-04-11-00448Brutus (male)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We unfortunately have to give up our 4 year-old Shepard because he cannot get used to our 14-month old boy. He has growled at times and nipped at him once when got too playful. It hurts us to have to give him up because he has literally been the best, well obeyed, loving dog for us since we adopted him as a puppy. The feeling is literally like losing a child. We love him to death. He loves to play, go on walks, obeys well and even will do some tricks. He is around 90 lbs. black and tan color and honestly the most beautiful Shepard we've seen. We want him to go to a loving home who will spoil him as we have. We prefer a home that has another ... (Read More)friendly dog. We have another dog he just enjoys playing with. We are going to be very picky and selective to who we give him up to. (Less)
